Which petroleum and petrochemical products does BG Petro Chemicals supply?
Paving bitumen, solvent-refined base oils and bright stock, rubber process and insulating oils, paraffin, microcrystalline and slack waxes, hydrocarbon solvents, BTX aromatics, glycols and other intermediates, phthalate and non-phthalate plasticisers, PVC resins and refinery sulphur.
2Is technical and safety documentation provided for each grade?
Is technical and safety documentation provided for each grade?
Available safety data sheets, specifications, certificates of analysis and hazard information are confirmed for the specific grade, producer and offer. Transport documents are prepared as the material and route require.
3What certificates come with a petroleum grade?
What certificates come with a petroleum grade?
None as a blanket statement. A certificate is issued to the refinery or plant that makes a grade, so we share a producer's management-system or product certificate only after checking that it covers the producing site. Registration questions under REACH or UK REACH, normally the importer's responsibility, are handled product by product.
Ordering
1What MOQ applies to flexitanks, drums or bagged grades?
What MOQ applies to flexitanks, drums or bagged grades?
Minimum order quantities depend on the product, producer, pack and destination: a flexitank of base oil, a container of drummed bitumen and a pallet of bagged wax each carry their own minimum. Send the grade and volume for an offer-specific figure.
2How do I request a quote for a petroleum grade?
How do I request a quote for a petroleum grade?
Use our Contact page, email sales@bgpetrochem.com or call +44 20 7101 3847. Name the product and grade, the specification or test methods, the pack, quantity and delivery country; the end use, such as lubricant blending or road paving, helps us match the grade.
3Who invoices petroleum orders, and how are they paid?
Who invoices petroleum orders, and how are they paid?
Every contract and invoice is issued by Bio Green Wax Ltd. Payment is normally by bank transfer or letter of credit; the terms in each offer reflect the order value, the pack format and your trading history with us.
Shipping
1Can you export petroleum products to my country?
Can you export petroleum products to my country?
In many cases, yes, but BG Petro Chemicals checks each destination before quoting. For petroleum and petrochemical products the deciding points are the hazard class, the import, registration and customs rules in your market, and a carrier or shipping line that accepts the UN number. Send the delivery country or port with the product and grade, and we check the route, Incoterm and shipping documents.
2What lead time should I plan for?
What lead time should I plan for?
Lead times are set per offer. They depend on the producer's schedule, any sample approval, the pack (flexitank, ISO tank, drums or bags) and dangerous-goods booking for classified loads. Each offer states the lead time for its pack option, so you can plan deliveries around it.
3Can you ship flammable and other dangerous goods?
Can you ship flammable and other dangerous goods?
Enquiries for classified materials, such as flammable solvents, benzene and methanol, are reviewed against UN classification, packaging, carrier acceptance and destination rules before BG Petro Chemicals confirms whether supply can be offered.
Technical
1Can I review a recent batch COA and the SDS before I order?
Can I review a recent batch COA and the SDS before I order?
Yes, on request, for grades where the producer issues them: the SDS in GHS/CLP format, a TDS with typical properties such as viscosity, density, flash point or congealing point, and a recent batch COA with results by test method.
2Can I order a sample before a full load?
Can I order a sample before a full load?
For many grades, yes. Sample bottles and trial drums for lab testing or blending trials are packed and labelled for their hazard class. Some classified products, such as flammable solvents and aromatics, cannot travel by ordinary courier, so tell us the product, sample size, test and address; we confirm what can ship and any cost.
